euroLighting presents T8 tubes with new concept
In AC technology and with sunlight-like spectrum
Nagold, May 27th, 2019 - The new T8 tubes from euroLighting differ from the T8 tubes previously available on the market: They are designed in AC technology and therefore do not require a power supply unit. They also contain the latest light-emitting diodes with sunlight-like spectrum.
The T8 tubes are available with a light colour of 4000K and 5500K as well as in two versions: CCG and ECG. As they do not require rewiring, the design approval of the luminaire housing is not required. In the case of the CCG version, the starter must be removed during installation; in the case of the ECG models, this is done purely by "plug-in", i.e. by simply replacing the tube body.Press Release euroLighting May 2019 pdf
euroLighting presents LEDs for plant growth
Achieve optimum light spectrum with just one LED
Nagold, April 12, 2019 - euroLighting presents new Allix LEDs for plant growth that emit exactly the blue and red components that promote growth thanks to a special phosphorus composition. This allows the required spectrum to be covered by a single LED instead of several blue and red LEDs. Customer-specific combinations are also possible.
The lighting requirements for good plant growth can vary depending on the type of plant, e.g. root vegetables, flowering plants or green plants. With the new LEDs for plant growth, euroLighting therefore offers the possibility of adapting the spectrum to the individual requirements. Basically, the LEDs are available with different light spectra as SMD LEDs (5.6 x 3mm, 5.4 x 5mm, 2.8 x 3.5mm, 3.5 x 3.5mm, 1.8 x 1.8mm) and as high-power COBs (13 x 13mm to 38 x 38mm). Customer-specific LED modules are also available. euroLighting supports customers in determining their individual requirements and accompanies them en route to the optimum lighting solution for their plants.Press release eurolighting April 2019 pdf
euroLighting to exhibit at eltefa trade fair 2019 - Hall 8 Booth D46
Smart City and street lamps as well as LEDs with sunlight spectrum
Nagold, February 18th, 2019 - euroLighting will be exhibiting at the eltefa trade fair 2019 in Stuttgart from March 20th to 22nd (Hall 8, Stand D46). From its extensive portfolio of LED products and solutions, the lighting specialist will focus on two main product areas: Smart City and street lamps, as well as LED lamps with a full spectrum similar to sunlight.
Smart City and street lamps
With an international partner, euroLighting has opened up the large field of activity of "Smart City". In addition to street lamp lighting, this also includes the many possibilities offered by street lamp masts: Among other things, they can serve as a location for electric charging stations for electric mobility, as well as a location for WLAN or for monitoring pedestrians and vehicle traffic on the road. This enables euroLighting to provide customers with an overall plan, e.g. for new development areas, which enables clear monitoring and control of roads and pavements or can provide data on traffic flow in pedestrian zones.
The focus product is also the new screw-in lamps for lamp heads in the familiar form, which now have an extension in the area of night reduction: Each lamp can be individually programmed to gradually reduce its output and thus its consumption by up to 50% in the evening hours and increase it again in the morning hours.
LED light source with sunlight-like full spectrum
The second main area presented by euroLighting is LED light sources that produce a full spectrum similar to sunlight, i.e. up to 98% similar to sunlight. These lamps thus differ significantly from other LED products that are equipped with conventional light-emitting diodes. The light-emitting diodes similar to sunlight have a significantly lower blue component and a higher red component instead. This enables true-to-original colour rendering and the user can enjoy the positive health-promoting properties of the sun's rays in his home 24 hours. This new generation of light sources was awarded the "German Design Award 2019" in February of this year, which recognised the importance of sunlight in the use of light sources.

These include better colour recognition, support for sleep/wake rhythm, increase in vitality, performance and concentration.
The LED lamps, reminiscent of a conventional light bulb, simulate sunlight almost perfectly, which has a positive influence on the human organism.
New 5-in-1 multicolor LED module with sunlight spectrum from euroLighting
Saves space and costs
Nagold, January 16th, 2019 - euroLighting is introducing a new 5-in-1 multicolor LED with a sunlight-like full spectrum that can produce any desired light color. Due to its compact design, it is suitable for space-saving integration into various lighting applications.
The multicolor LED module features five separately controllable chips in one component. In addition to the three primary colors red, green and blue, any desired light color can be generated with the aid of the integrated warm white and cold white LED segments. This combination provides the perfect basis for implementing dynamic tunable white lighting and other individual lighting concepts.Press release eurolighting january 2019 pdf

LEDs, which reproduce the sunlight spectrum by up to 98 percent, are characterised by many positive effects on humans and animals as well as very natural colour rendering. This allows for a wide range of applications - from hospital, school and museum lighting to lighting for animal husbandry and plant growth.
Technical article by Simone Hettinger, euroLighting
Sunlight LEDs try to imitate the colour spectrum of the sun and thus natural light. In order to achieve this, the colours need to be uniformly emitted in the visible range. Such LEDs can then be used in various applications such as museums or galleries, as they do not falsify the colours of the exhibit. But they also find use in schools, practices or animal husbandry, as the light has a positive effect on both humans and animals.
How do you bring sunlight into the classroom?
Healthy lighting with sunlight similar LED tubes
Nagold, September 18th, 2018 – Many classrooms are still fitted with old fluorescent tubes which are highly uneconomic compared to modern LED tubes. euroLighting, Germany, offers a new form of lighting in the shape of sunlight similar LED tubes as a solution. These not only help to reduce electricity and maintenance costs - they also take health benefits into consideration.
The health of our children is our most valuable commodity. Therefore special attention should be paid to their environment. Especially in classrooms, where they spend a considerable amount of time, it is possible to achieve significant improvements with minimal investments. Other countries, like Taiwan, have passed regulations, making it mandatory for schools that children spend at least 1 1/2 hours per day outdoors. euroLighting now makes it possible to illuminate classrooms with sunlight through LED tubes.

Sunlight and LED: The influence of light on humans
17.02.18 | Author / editor: Wolfgang Endrich * / Hendrik Härter
The natural light of the sun is essential for humans. LEDs try to artificially reproduce sunlight - with all its advantages and disadvantages. We look at the details.
Light plays a very important role in human biological energy production. Although light is so important, it has often been misunderstood and overlooked for its relevance to the mitochondrial level of ATP, the energy carrier of our body. When light-emitting diodes were invented in 1962, one could not know what groundbreaking success LEDs would have in the decades to follow. Two developments were extremely helpful: Energy became cheaper and the development and improvement of the LED's performance took place very quickly.
