Environmentally conscious and economical: LED lighting

LED lamps save up to 90 per cent electricity

Previously this technology was at best suitable for signal- and warn lighting. Small, blinking signal lamps did not allow the conclusion that this technology would be suitable to realize interior lighting or even street lighting within a few years. The advantages of this lighting solution are significant - and this realization has, without a doubt, contributed to the further development of such luminaries at such a rapid pace. When compared to a light bulb it is possible to save up to 90 per cent of electricity using LED. LEDs have the further advantage that they are shock proof and have a good switching behavior. LEDs develop much less heat than other luminaries.

LED lighting: Vast range of products for both interior- and exterior lighting

Designers of lamps have recognized the potential of the LED - once thought as a mere warning- or signal-lamp - and have been creating lamps, equipped with many small light diodes. One of the particular advantages of this lighting solution is the compact format: It can take place in just about any design - no matter how small and winding. Naturally the lighting diodes will remain decorative: As lighting accent within a figurative representation. LEDs are not limited to producing only white light but can produce the entire color spectrum, LEDs, which can depict such color gradient, are also popular in decorative lighting. Besides the usual illumination of living rooms, such as ceiling, hanging, wall and table-lamps, there is a strong demand for a good and economic LED lighting for outdoor applications. High Color Saturation

  • LED technology, by it's nature, offers colored light and opens new possibilities of light design
  • LED technology makes it possible to define light colors from 2.500 K up to 6.000 K with a color deviation of 0.01% straight from the semiconductor and thus offers a diversity of white light
  • A color temperature of 2.700 K up to 3.000 K is considered to be warm white light, above 3.300 K is considered to be neutral white and above 5.300 K the light is considered to be daylight white
